Getting there
Flying
Ryanair to Ancona (Falconara) Airport, is the cheapest and closest option if flying from the UK, whilst Pescara in Abruzzo is an alternative and only slightly further away. Flights leave from Stansted Airport.
Alternatively, if flying from any other destinations, then Rome (Fiumicino or Ciampino Airports) is easily reachable.
Driving
Le Spiazzette is approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes’ drive from Ancona (motorway followed by main road SS78), 3 hours’ drive from Rome along the Salaria, 2 hours and 30 minutes’ drive from Pescara (motorway, then the Val d’Aso).
Taking the centre of Amandola as our starting point, first head in the direction of Macerata – Sarnano; after 4.5 km you’ll reach the small hamlet of Rustici, where you’ll see a right hand turning for Monte San Martino. After 4.8 km there is a left hand turning into a track road signposted Castello, Tennacola; take this track road for approx. 800 metres until you reach a junction, with another track road to the right; take this track road for a further 600 metres and you’ll find Le Spiazzette.
